At approximately 5:30 a.m. on June 14, 1974, 46-year-old Santiago Pulido Romero was driving toward his father's farm near Medellín, Spain, when a strong light caught his attention. He observed an unusual object flying at low altitude (around 100 meters), described as round on the bottom with a cone-shaped tower on top. When he switched on his car headlights, the object rapidly approached him at high speed. He turned the lights off, and it moved away. This interaction was repeated. Through what appeared to be windows or openings in the craft, he clearly saw three very tall men, over two meters in height, wearing helmets and appearing to hold onto control levers or instruments. The men seemed stationary. The witness, described as a balanced family man and outdoorsman, reported the event to the press shortly afterward. The case was published in Spanish newspapers and investigated by ufologists, appearing in Flying Saucer Review. No physical evidence was reported, but the detailed interaction and description of occupants inside the craft were emphasized.
