Unidentified
On the public record, and still open. A claim, paper, or film — not a finding that it was ours, and not a finding that it was not.
Excerpt from investigation notes describing the figure in the window and object proximity.
What was claimed
Lyndia Morel was driving home when a glowing object paced her car. A humanoid figure with large eyes was visible inside a window-like opening. The encounter included physical effects on the vehicle and witness. It was investigated and documented in contemporary UFO literature with a dated interview.
What is on the record
This file is a working record — a report, not a verdict. Official paper, if any, is linked where we have it.
On November 2, 1973, Lyndia Morel was driving home alone late at night along a road adjacent to a cemetery in Manchester, New Hampshire. She noticed a bright object following her car, which she first thought might be a helicopter. As it drew closer, possibly within 500 feet and at the height of a three-story building, she could see it was a structured craft with a distinct window or opening. Inside, a humanoid figure became clearly visible, staring at her. The figure had large, prominent eyes. Morel experienced fear and physical discomfort; the object appeared to pace her vehicle closely. The case was one of several New England CE3 reports from the 1973 flap and was documented with witness interview by researchers, becoming known as the Lyndia Morel encounter in UFO evidence compilations.
Could this have been ours?
The known sky, that night.
Satellites were already up. The station was not. Starlink was not.
Always
Aircraft, balloons, meteors
Landing lights, flares, lanterns, reentries, fireballs. They are on the known sky. They do not close a file by themselves — they are what a serious look has to hold the claim against.
The known sky
None of the above land
Stations, trains, and planets do not set down in a field or leave a body. This file is a ground report. The known sky still has to be named. It does not answer the claim.
