Inside he saw a humanoid figure with a square face, protruding eyes, large calf-like ears, and hair sticking out from the sides of its head. The being had its arms raised. What is on the record
This file is a working record — a report, not a verdict. Official paper, if any, is linked where we have it.
On the night of December 2, 1974, 68-year-old dairy farmer William Bosak was driving home southeast of Frederic, Wisconsin, after attending a Farmer's Co-op meeting. About one mile from his farm, in patchy fog, his headlights reflected off an object 8-10 feet tall standing beside the road. He slowed nearly to a stop and observed a transparent, bullet- or bell-shaped glass-like section at the top, illuminated from within. A humanoid figure was visible from the waist up with its arms raised above its head. The being had a square, hairless face with a beardless chin, large protruding eyes, and ears protruding about three inches resembling those of a calf. Stiff hair stuck straight out from the sides of its head. Frightened, Bosak accelerated away. As he did so, the interior of his car went dark and he heard a swishing sound like tree branches brushing the vehicle. He kept the experience to himself for nearly a month before reporting it to a newspaper. Investigators from APRO later interviewed him and found him sincere with a good local reputation. No other witnesses or physical traces were reported.
