Carl Higdon, hunting elk in Medicine Bow National Forest on 25 October 1974, said he met a man in a one-piece suit who took him aboard a craft. He was later found miles from his truck, confused, and was examined at a hospital. No second witness saw the figure.
The case entered abduction literature quickly. A lost hunter and a hospital note are not a recovered occupant. This catalogue files what he said, tagged contested.

Farmer William Bosak encountered a tall object with a transparent curved window while driving home. Inside he saw a humanoid figure with a square face, protruding eyes, large calf-like ears, and hair sticking out from the sides of its head. The being had its arms raised. Bosak accelerated away in fear as the car interior darkened and a swishing sound was heard.
