A highway inspector shot three Polaroids of a hat-shaped disc over the road. The prints were taken and later returned; the negatives were not.

On 3 August 1965 Rex Heflin, working for the Orange County Highway Department, said he photographed a hat-shaped object from his van with a Polaroid. Three frames showed a dark disc over telephone poles. NICAP and later analysts argued over a genuine craft versus a model. The original Polaroids were borrowed by men claiming official interest and came back without negatives.
The pictures exist. What they show does not. This catalogue files a photographic claim with that split.

Multiple mine workers observed and photographed a bright, flattened silvery disk performing vertical and horizontal maneuvers at about 600 meters altitude for roughly two hours in clear skies. CEFAA analyzed the images and concluded it was a genuine UFO after ruling out conventional explanations.
