Standing

Unidentified

On the public record, and still open. A claim, paper, or film — not a finding that it was ours, and not a finding that it was not.

What was claimed

A woman walking to church said two small figures in one-piece suits stood by a spindle-shaped craft in a clearing. Police took a statement the same day.

What is on the record

This file is a working record — a report, not a verdict. Official paper, if any, is linked where we have it.

On All Saints’ morning 1954, Rosa Lotti was walking near Cennina with flowers for a cemetery. She said two small figures in shiny suits took the flowers, spoke in a language she did not know, and stood by a spindle-shaped object in the brush. She told the priest and then the carabinieri the same day.

The 1954 Italian wave produced many such reports. Lotti’s is a named witness, a dated church walk, and a police note. It is an occupant claim, not a recovered being.

Could this have been ours?

The known sky, that night.

Before Sputnik the known lights were planets, meteors, aircraft, and balloons. No station. No Starlink.

Always

Aircraft, balloons, meteors

Landing lights, flares, lanterns, reentries, fireballs. They are on the known sky. They do not close a file by themselves — they are what a serious look has to hold the claim against.

The known sky

None of the above land

Stations, trains, and planets do not set down in a field or leave a body. This file is a ground report. The known sky still has to be named. It does not answer the claim.

Orbit · Space — the desks for lights that are already named.
