What was claimed
Prospector Stefan Michalak approached a landed craft and was burned in a grid across the chest. Hospitals, RCMP, and the RCAF took the case.

Michalak was prospecting near Falcon Lake when he saw two cigar-shaped objects. One landed. He approached, heard voices, touched a hot surface that burned his glove, and was hit by a blast of air or exhaust from a grid-like vent that left a matching burn on his torso. He was treated in Winnipeg. His shirt, with the holes, was kept. Soil at the site was tested.
The RCAF, RCMP, and the Condon Committee all looked. Radiation claims have been argued both ways. Michalak’s medical record, the garment, and the ground stain make this Canada’s hardest CE2. He never recanted.

Ground traces, burned clothing, and medical records were documented. Canada's most thoroughly investigated and best-documented unsolved UFO case according to official files.
