What was claimed
Two walkers in Scotland photographed a diamond-shaped object with a jet in frame.
What is on the record
The Calvine photograph is in the UK record and was later released. MOD files exist. The image is real paper; the object is not identified in those files.
Two men walking near Calvine took a color photograph of a large, faceted, diamond-shaped object in a clear sky, with a jet — later identified by some analysts as a Harrier — in the same frame. The print was sent to the Daily Record and then to the Ministry of Defence. The walkers asked for anonymity and disappeared from the public record.
For years the image was rumored. In 2022 Sheffield Hallam researcher David Clarke released a copy found in MoD files: a sharp, strange diamond above the Scottish hills. Experts have argued it is a kite, a secret aircraft, or something not in the inventory.
The released print is one of the few times a government file produced a photograph rather than a denial. The photographers have not come forward.

Dozens Report Large Object Lit Up Sky at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, CO

Dozens of people, including a group at the amphitheatre, observed an odd object approximately three stories long that lit up the sky for about 30 seconds before vanishing. It was not identified as an airplane or shooting star. Local news covered the multiple-witness event.

A couple observed a very large (300-400 ft) object with multiple lights moving from north to south. Smaller lights disappeared, middle lights flashed white and red, it hovered over the tree line then dropped behind it. Video was recorded.
