On the public record, and still open. A claim, paper, or film — not a finding that it was ours, and not a finding that it was not.
Declassified radar plots and F-16 cockpit data show unexplained acceleration and descent; government statement confirms no conventional aircraft or explanation.
What was claimed
Multiple triangular objects with bright lights reported by thousands; Belgian Air Force F-16s achieved radar lock and recorded extraordinary performance including rapid acceleration and descent. Officially investigated with no conventional explanation.
What is on the record
This file is a working record — a report, not a verdict. Official paper, if any, is linked where we have it.
On the night of March 30–31, 1990, thousands of Belgian citizens, including police officers, reported large silent triangular craft with bright lights at the corners and a pulsing red light in the center. Gendarmes in the Eupen area filed detailed reports. Two F-16 fighters from the Belgian Air Force were scrambled. The pilots achieved radar lock on the targets twice. The objects accelerated from 280 km/h to over 1,800 km/h in seconds and dropped from 3,000 m to 1,000 m in under 5 seconds, maneuvers impossible for conventional aircraft. Radar data was released publicly. The Belgian government acknowledged the events and concluded the phenomena could not be explained by conventional means. Over 13,500 witness reports were filed during the broader wave.
Could this have been ours?
The known sky, that night.
Satellites were already up. The station was not. Starlink was not.

Aircraft, balloons, meteors
Landing lights, flares, lanterns, reentries, fireballs. They are on the known sky. They do not close a file by themselves — they are what a serious look has to hold the claim against.
