On 13 August 2026, walking near the water at La Conner, Washington, a witness first noticed a hum with no identifiable direction, then the surrounding environment going dead silent — even the sound of the water, they wrote. Looking up, they saw a black triangular craft with red lights at each vertex, high enough to appear the size of a chip at arm’s length, estimated 3,000 to 4,000 feet. A faint red glow on the underside. It held position for roughly ten minutes. A second person was present. NUFORC published the account.
Both witnesses later mentioned a sensation of awe. Aircraft, a drone show, and a story that grew are possible. The file is two people, a triangle, and ten minutes of silence. Not a verdict.
