In late October 1975, Wurtsmith Air Force Base — a Strategic Air Command field flying nuclear-armed B-52s — logged unidentified lights over the flight line and the lake. A KC-135 crew described an object that paced them. The same week, Loring, Malmstrom, and other SAC bases filed similar reports. NORAD and the Air Force Inspector General paper later made the week a matter of record.

Lights over a bomber ramp are not a boarding. They are a SAC log. This catalogue files the log.

Bolender memo
