On the public record, and still open. A claim, paper, or film — not a finding that it was ours, and not a finding that it was not.

Two forestry workers saw 5m saucer land; 90cm green-suited humanoid emerged; witness grabbed it sustaining burns; snow traces documented.

What was claimed

Forestry workers Petter Aliranta and Esko Juhani Sneck observed a metallic UFO land and a small humanoid emerge. Aliranta attempted to seize the entity, sustaining burns to his hand. Physical traces were left in the snow. Investigated with physical evidence documented.

What is on the record

This file is a working record — a report, not a verdict. Official paper, if any, is linked where we have it.

On February 5, 1971, at around 3:00 p.m. in a wooded area near Kinnula, Finland, 21-year-old Petter Aliranta and 18-year-old Esko Juhani Sneck were finishing forestry work when Aliranta spotted a metallic object, shaped like two saucers joined together and about 5 meters in diameter, descending from treetop level. It landed on four thin, long legs in a small clearing approximately 15 meters away. A small humanoid, less than 1 meter tall, wearing a tight green one-piece suit with a helmet featuring a lens-like visor, emerged from an opening underneath and glided to the ground. The being walked stiffly toward Aliranta on the snow without sinking in. Aliranta started his chainsaw and advanced; the entity turned back toward the craft. Aliranta grabbed its leg, feeling intense heat that caused burns to his hand. He observed three other figures moving inside the craft through windows. The object then ascended, leaving clear impressions in the deep snow from its landing pads and a melted area beneath. The case was documented with photographs of traces and medical examination of the burns.

Could this have been ours?

The known sky, that night.

Satellites were already up. The station was not. Starlink was not.

Always

Aircraft, balloons, meteors

Landing lights, flares, lanterns, reentries, fireballs. They are on the known sky. They do not close a file by themselves — they are what a serious look has to hold the claim against.

The known sky

None of the above land

Stations, trains, and planets do not set down in a field or leave a body. This file is a ground report. The known sky still has to be named. It does not answer the claim.
