An Anglican missionary and dozens of mission people watched a disk with humanoid figures. The figures appeared to wave back.

This file is a working record — a report, not a verdict. Official paper, if any, is linked where we have it.
Rev. William Booth Gill, an Anglican priest at Boianai, logged two consecutive evenings. A bright object with a deck and four legs hovered near the mission. Figures came out onto a platform. Gill and about thirty-eight teachers, students, and villagers waved; one figure waved back. The object returned the next night. Gill wrote the notes the same hours, with names.
Hynek interviewed Gill and called him impressive. Venus and a bright planet have been offered for parts of the display; they do not cover the platform or the wave. A clergyman, a dated log, and a village full of named witnesses.

The craft departed. The pancakes were analyzed by the U.S. Air Force and NICAP. Investigated by Project Blue Book and J. Allen Hynek; Simonton's character vouched for by local officials and neighbors.
