Posts from Guntersville described three orange orbs over the water and the small downtown, not keeping station. One was said to outrun the others, then all three faded. The colour was consistent across accounts: solid orange, not a strobe.

Chinese lanterns over the lake are the ordinary reading. The reports still specify three, orange, and unequal speed. The plate follows that description. Not a verdict.
