CEFAA, under Chile’s civil aviation authority, is one of the few official UAP offices in the southern hemisphere. It has collected military and civilian reports and, on occasion, published video and stills. The 2014 Navy helicopter infrared case — two objects off the coast near San Antonio — was released through this desk.

The office has not claimed extraterrestrial craft. It has claimed that some footage is unidentified after review. That is enough to file: a state aviation body, a public case, a remainder.
