In sworn testimony, David Grusch stated that during his official duties he was informed of a multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse-engineering program to which he was denied access. He reported interviewing approximately 40 witnesses who described the U.S. government being in possession of UAP of non-human origin. When asked directly whether biologics came with some of these recoveries, Grusch replied affirmatively, stating they were 'non-human' based on the assessment of people with direct knowledge of the program who are still involved. He provided this information to the Intelligence Community Inspector General and Congress in classified settings but did not present physical evidence publicly. The hearing record includes these exchanges as part of broader discussion on national security implications and government transparency. Other witnesses focused primarily on observed UAP flight characteristics rather than retrieval claims.
