Fiscal Year 2023 Consolidated Annual Report on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena

During the reporting period AARO received 291 UAP reports, most of which were resolved through analysis as ordinary objects or phenomena. The report discusses development of simulation models for known and unknown shapes to aid future sensor operator training and analysis. It covers strategic communications, including declassification of data and videos for a March 2023 congressional hearing. No evidence of extraterrestrial technology, non-human intelligence, crash retrieval, or material exploitation is reported. Emphasis is placed on improving resolution rates through better data collection, interagency coordination, and scientific methods while maintaining that the majority of cases have prosaic explanations.
