The FBI Vault published batches of historical UFO correspondence. Among them is the March 1950 Guy Hottel memo repeating a claim that an Air Force investigator had been told of a crashed disc and three-foot bodies. The Bureau has said the memo was unconfirmed hearsay and not an investigation finding.
The vault is unclassified paper: what agents wrote down, including rumor. This catalogue keeps the collection as a FOIA archive of claims, not as a recovered occupant file.
