Pursuant to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024, this Record Group (RG 615) consists of copies of all qualifying U.S. government records on UAP, technologies of unknown origin, and non-human intelligence (or equivalent terms). Agencies are required to transmit relevant materials to NARA. The collection includes historical and contemporary records, some previously held elsewhere, and serves as a centralized archival repository. It encompasses materials that may address or deny claims of crash retrievals, biologics, or non-human intelligence, consistent with the statutory mandate to preserve the historical record without rendering judgment on the content.
