Ledger illustration of the record — not a scan of the original paper. — Night Ledger illustration of the file
On 8 May 2026 the Department of War opened war.gov/UFO as the public face of PURSUE — the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters. The first tranche put never-before-seen files, videos, and photographs on an unclassified site. Later drops followed on 22 May, 12 June, 10 July, and 7 August 2026. The corpus mixed historical FBI and NASA paper with recent FBI orb files, a western United States multi-agent event from 2023, and sensor video.
A portal of declassified records is not a specimen. This catalogue files the existence of the portal and the fact of the releases. Individual cases from those tranches sit as their own files.
